west highland park kitchen
We worked with Janson Luter Architects and Jarrett Construction to dramatically transform an existing 1940's kitchen into a functional, modern day space. We started by selecting the gorgeous Paonazzo marble that continues seamlessly up the backsplash in the kitchen. The blue and grey veining compliments the cabinetry color, while the gold tones keep the space feeling warm. A custom white oak island by local furniture maker Elias Guillermo creates additional work space in the kitchen. We intentionally kept the bar space free of any uppers and utilized the marble to create a functional shelf for display. The custom sconces, inspired by vintage Italian lighting, complete the bespoke look.
