Our clients hired us to help them furnish existing 1950’s home. The home itself had great bones- original terrazzo floors, a large scale brick fireplace, and tons of natural light.
The first floor has a very open concept with the entry, great room, living room, and dining room all opening up to each other. We kept the overall pallet neutral and utilized texture and warm tones of brown and orange to compliment the existing oak wall in the great room.
For continuity, the pallet was carried through the office and primary bedroom. Once upstairs, we added in earthy greens in the game room to keep it fun!
