Elderwood

A new constuction in Dallas, the primary objective was to create a serene, inviting atmosphere while incorporating durable materials that can withstand the wear and tear of everyday life with a spirited Rhodesian Ridgeback. The design features a soothing color palette that emphasizes natural tones, fostering a sense of tranquility. Texture plays a vital role in the design, with various materials selected to add depth and interest while remaining practical.

A standout feature of the home is the fully enclosed sunporch, designed as a bright and airy retreat. This space incorporates large windows to invite natural light, creating a warm and inviting area for relaxation. The sunporch includes a dedicated wall of custom millwork showcasing the client's family's memorabilia, offering a personal touch that celebrates her cherished memories.

The home's layout promotes flow and connection between spaces, allowing for easy movement and interaction. Open-concept living areas blend seamlessly with the sunporch, creating a harmonious environment perfect for entertaining or quiet evenings at home.
